Ingredients
  

  • 5-8 vanilla beans
  • 1 cup vodka

Method
 

  1. Split the vanilla beans in half lengthways.
  2. Using a sharp knife, gently scrape out the vanilla seeds.
  3. Place the vanilla seeds into a bottle or measuring cup and add the vodka.
  4. Whisk to combine and pour into bottles.
  5. Seal the bottles and mature the vanilla for 8 weeks, shaking 1-2 times per week.
